How many do I actually need?
Usually one. In Crew Mode, one Mac measures the room and shares everything with the rest of your crew over the network. Any Mac connected to it runs the full version without a licence of its own, so a show with six Macs backstage needs one licence, not six.
Buy more than one when Macs need to work independently: a second venue running at the same time, a touring rig that splits, or a backup FOH machine you want to run on its own if the first one dies mid-show.

Can I try it first?
Yes. The free version is a full download with no time limit and no account. Download it, use it on a show, and buy a licence only if it earns its place.
How do I activate?
Open Marley Live, go to Settings, then Licence, paste the key from your email and click Activate. That is the only time the app talks to the licence server.
What if I get a new Mac?
Click Deactivate on the old one before you activate the new one. If the old Mac is already dead or wiped, sign in at your licence page and free its seat yourself.
What if I lose my key?
Go to your licence page and enter the email address you bought with. We will send you a link to it. There is no password and no account to set up.
Do I need internet during a show?
No. Activation is the one and only online step. After that Marley Live runs entirely offline, which is the point.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. Recordings and measurements stay on your Mac. The licence server only ever sees your key and an anonymous identifier for the Mac, never your audio, your cues or your show.
